For Lufthansa Technik AG—one of the world's leading providers of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services in the aviation industry—we are seeking an experienced Aircraft Landing Gear Technician (m/f/d) for the Hamburg location, to start as soon as possible.

This position is to be filled on a temporary agency employment basis for the period from October 1, 2026, to April 30, 2028.

In this role, you will work on safety-critical landing gear components for modern commercial aircraft, making a direct contribution to the safety and reliability of international flight operations.

Conducting inspections and assessments of large landing gear components
Measuring and inspecting components according to technical specifications
Analyzing wear patterns and damage characteristics
Applying various measurement methods for dimensional and quality checks
Documenting inspection results and assessment data
Working from technical drawings and specifications
Supporting maintenance and repair processes
Contributing to the maintenance of the highest quality and safety standards in the aviation sector

Your Profile

Vocational training as an industrial mechanic, machining mechanic, tool mechanic, precision mechanic, structural mechanic, plant mechanic, mechatronics technician, or a comparable qualification
Experience using precision measuring instruments is an advantage
Ability to read technical drawings and perform dimensional checks
Experience with calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, as well as testing and gauging systems is desirable
Meticulous and quality-oriented work style
Team spirit and reliability
Willingness to work a two-shift schedule
Very good German language skills (C1)
Basic English language skills (A2)
